About GrindEQ

GrindEQ – shorthand for Grinder of EQuations – provides a comprehensive suite of solutions designed to eliminate the tedious task of retyping equations, saving researchers and scientists valuable time.

Converting equations between different formats has long been a challenge for the scientific community, particularly when preparing papers for conferences and journals. To address this, a group of professors and students formed the GrindEQ Team during an international workshop on intelligent automation systems in 1996, launching the GrindEQ Project.

Our core mission is to enable seamless, automatic conversion between LaTeX and Microsoft Equation / MathType formats. Our early releases, Word-to-TeX and TeX-to-Word, have been successfully used to prepare scientific papers for major international conferences in the USA, UK, Germany, France, Canada, and Ukraine, as well as over a dozen other countries. Following this success, GrindEQ transitioned to a commercial project in 2002.

Today, GrindEQ is trusted by thousands of customers worldwide.
